The Stripes Have It

This week's challenge on The Three Muses is to do something with theme of legs. The same day that I read this, one of my students came into school wearing fabulous pink and black tights. The dye was cast as I whipped out my camera and shot a variety of poses. The result is this funny collage that was inspired by Teesha Moore's zetti designs. The border is a zetti freebie from Flickr.
If you don't know Teesha's work google her name and have a look. It's very interesting!

  1. I thought I was going to find a late "stars" entry, and instead I find this delightful early "legs" entry! What fabulous tights, and I loved following the lettering around to read of the unquenchable thirst! A delightful kick-off for the legs challenge, Sharon!

  2. Sharon, this is delightful - so full of fun and whimsy, not to mention fantastic artwork. I love the Teesha Moore touch and the stripey legs and arms are fabulous. I especially love the patchwork vest. You are certainly the early bird! Perhaps it might be a good idea to post it under the new challenge which opens tomorrow (Wednesday) - otherwise it might be missed by your blog friends.
Thanks for the smile. Fantastic work.

  3. I expected to see a late "stars" entry, and instead found this delightful early "legs" entry! This is a great fun page, and I don't want everyone to miss it, so it would be good if you'd post it under "legs" tomorrow, Sharon. Everyone will covet those tights!!!

  4. Sharon, this is such a fabulous fun take on the legs theme. So there's not just me then that whips my camera out at the drop of a hat, or the feast of a pair of stripey legs that will be perfect for a project. Please, please do resubmit though for this week's challenge or so many of your blog friends will miss this gorgeous piece of artwork.
