This is my entry for The Three Muses challenge. I bent the rule a bit by using a window rather than a door. These 3 lovely young ladies were my father's sisters. I love the dresses and the bows in their hair. The girl on the left passed away before my Dad was born. I grew up knowing the smallest girl in the front who was my Auntie Gussie. She lived into her 90's!

Sharon this is just gorgeous and I suspect will become a heritage piece for your family album. I love the soft pastel colours and the script and of course your family.
ReplyDeleteI often wonder what 'family' would have thought had they had been told they would one day be seen across the world like this.
What a wonderful photo to work with. I am so impressed with the way you handle the soft colours which give a lovely, dreamy look and a glimpse into the past. I think your Aunt Gussie would love her new "home". Stunning work.
ReplyDeleteI love your vintage collages! Any aperture will do. At The Muses, it's about participation and personal expression, and you've certainly done a fine job of that! Thank you for playing along with us.
