On Saturday June 20th I was fortunate to attend a workshop with designer/collage artist Jane Davies. She has written several books, the one I own is called Collage Journeys. I think I found out about the book on Diane's Mixed Art bookshelf. Jane brought an array of wonderful papers and techniques and the day really got my creative juices going. Her are two examples from the day. I'm not sure this is totally resolved.
As usual the colors are deeper in the original piece.
Actually after taking another look at this, it reminds me of an old map.

Sharon how lucky are you!? I wish I could have the good fortune to take one of Jane's classed. I so admire her books. I really like your collages, they have such a soft feel to them. Thanks for sharing
