We were very fortunate that two owl chicks were in a nest near where we were staying. I couldn't get a good shot of them but I was able to capture the mama bird. Her colors were so like the tree that I almost couldn't see her.

I have an owl in a pine tree next to my house. Every afternoon like clock work she would come out to hunt. I think she had two babies also. I love your photos.
