Remembering Dad

November 15th and I am just getting to look at the Audubon Sanctuary magazine that arrived months ago. Looking at the Sanctuary always reminds me of my father. A longtime member of the Audubon Society, Dad loved birds. He fed them, photographed them and watched them with great interest as they landed on the various feeders he had stationed around his yard.
Now his bird feeder stands in my yard. I eagerly await the blue jays, and cardinals along with the sparrows and occasional grackle that show up for breakfast and late afternoon snacks. Along with all of nature that my father loved, the birds will always hold a special place in my heart, next to my Dad.
